Hello, my name is Bertrand.

Born in France, just outside Paris, I now call Brisbane home after moving to Australia in 2014.

I’ve been drawn to photography and filmmaking since I was young, starting with my father’s camera and later developing my own practice. More than twenty years on, that same curiosity continues to guide my work.

My business, Mr Atticus, is named after my cat — a simple choice, as my French name is often difficult to pronounce.

While weddings are at the heart of what I do, I also work across events, behind-the-scenes, music, and creative projects. I’m drawn to people, atmosphere, and honest storytelling in all its forms.

At the core of my work is a quiet, documentary approach — creating images and films that feel natural, timeless, and true.
